Relaxation oscillations of the intensity of radiation from a two-micron thulium laser

摘要
Analytic expressions are derived for the frequency and for the decay decrement of relaxation oscillations of the intensity of lambda = 2 mu m radiation from a thulium laser. Numerical estimates of these two parameters are obtained for a Tm3+:YSGG crystal laser.
