摘要
Improving the usability of CAD software continues to be our focus, and it must be made easier to learn and use for new or occasional users, as well as more productive for experienced users. The redevelopment of CAD software confirms an efficient way to achieve it. In this paper, key development technologies and principles of establishing the standard parts library database based on UG are presented at first. Then, a complete die standard parts library is established at the platform of UG through VC++ programming. The library can greatly reduce the designer's work, and enhance the die design efficiency.
