Crystallochemical and magnetic studies of LiM1-xMx'PO4 (M, M′ = Mn, Co, Ni; O≤x≤1)

摘要
A crystallochemical study of the mixed orthophosphates LiM1-xMx'PO4 (M, M'= Mn, Co, Ni; 0 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 1) using X-ray diffraction, shows that the three systems are isostructural to olivine. The results of the magnetic susceptibility and specific heat of Li(Mn,Co)(0.5)PO4, Li(Mn,Ni)(0.5)PO4 and Li(Co,Ni)(0.5)PO4 exhibit an antiferromagnetic behaviour at low temperature.
