摘要
In the wavelet theory, the construction of symmetric and compactly supported scaling and wavelet functions is an important problem. For the scalar wavelet, except the Haar wavelet, there are no wavelets possess compactly supports, orthogonality and symmetry simultaneously. In this paper, based on the auto-correlation functions of the compactly supported scaling functions, a general construction approach for the construction of semi-orthogonal wavelets with compactly supports, symmetry and linear phase is proposed. Related proofs are also given.
