摘要
Sandy soils are characterized by a low diversity and biomass of mesofauna. Topological distribution of pedobionts is controlled by two spatial gradients-slope aspect and altitude. The spatial distribution and biomass of soil animals are closely related (r = 0.92, P greater than or equal to 0.999) to the soil water reserves.
