New Transformer-Less Single Switch Structure for Boost DC-DC Converter with Low Input Current Ripple

摘要
This paper is presenting a new transformer-less single switch structure for boost dc-dc converter based on voltage lift (VL) technique. Using single switch, and free and low input current ripple are the proposed converter features. Also, the input capacitor of the proposed converter acts as input filter that adapt to the proposed structure for renewable energies. The VL technique is applied in boost converters. Here, the relations of each device of proposed converter are calculated in continuous current mode (CCM) with details. Also, its output gain is calculated in CCM. Then, the switch stress is analyzed in CCM. To correctness of the theoretical concepts are tested by simulation results using PSCAD/EMTDC.
