摘要：

In this note the coat colour-change of a descendant of a cross involving Pii train, Landrace and Large White is described. One sow was born as a black sported piglet with a white background. Ar the end of rearing the gilt showed a red background, a change which was also observed in one full brother and two half sisters of the sow. By 1 year of age the red colour had turned to roan. This colour also appeared in another unrelated pig, which was born as a tricoloured animal.
