Decoding of information in a system with a chaotic laser controlled by a chaotic signal

摘要
An optical information channel, based on two synchronised chaotically operating lasers with periodic pumping of the active medium, is considered. A study is reported of the dynamics of this laser system when chaotic radiation modulated by an external signal is injected. It is shown that information carried by a chaotic signal transmitted by such a channel can be retrieved and an estimate of the permissible width of the spectrum of the information signal is estimated.
