摘要:
In the present study, the Co-ZSM-5 catalysts with different Si/Al ratios of 23, 40 and 100 were studied by tests on the combustion of n-hexane. It was observed that the Co-ZSM-5 catalyst with ratio of Si/Al = 23 present the best catalytic performance, which is mainly attributed to higher concentration of active surface Co3+ species. The obtained data from the reaction kinetics experiments and the applied kinetics modeling lead to the suggestion that n -hexane complete oxidation on all catalysts proceeded via LangmuirHinshelwood mechanism by dissociative adsorption of oxygen, the reacting hydrocarbon and oxygen being adsorbed on different active sites.Copyright (C) 2022 Elsevier Ltd.
