摘要
By using normalized difference vegetation index from American NASA Pathfinder AVHRR database, this paper analyzed the characteristics of spatio-temporal change in vegetation from April to September, 1982-2000 in Three-river Headwater Region, and explored the correlation between NDVI and the main climatic factors, such as rainfall, average monthly temperature, average monthly maximum temperature and minimum temperature. The results showed that in this period the vegetation growth as a whole tended to be better, but high spatial differences exist in the trends of change; the correlation between NDVI and the temperature was higher than that between NDVI and the rainfall, and NDVI has most close relationship with the average monthly minimum temperature.
