摘要
Theories of technical systems can be distinguished according to their range of validity. A general theory of technical systems that is valid for all technical /machine: systems and many special theories which provide more concrete statements derived from the general theory. The special theories form a hierarchy within the general theory according to the specialised areas of technical systems. A particular place is reserved for those theories that are applicable across the number of above mentioned areas. A concept, application and long term experience with use of a such Specialised theory of Machine Elements are presented in this paper.
