System Reliability Anlysis of Anti-sliding Stability at Deep Foundation of Gravity Dams

摘要
Wedge stability against deep sliding is discussed for gravity dams. Based on the equal safety coefficient method and first-order second-moment method, the reliability indices of the two blocks are calculated. The system reliability index is calculated by means of equivalent linearization method. The results show that the two blocks with the equal safety factors has two different reliability indices. With the increase of the resistance's direction angle, the safety factors, reliability index and system reliability index change moderately. The sensitive coefficients of random variables are calculated, and the influence of statistic parameters of basic variables on reliability indices is analyzed, which can be used for reference in strengthening the weak intercalation of the gravity dams.
