Solid state coordination chemistry: organic/inorganic hybrid frameworks constructed from tetrapyridylporphyrin and vanadium oxide chains

摘要
The hydrothermal reactions of Na3VO4, tetrapyridylporphyrin (tpypor), phenylphosphonic acid and the appropriate M(II) salt yielded the three-dimensional oxide frameworks [Cu(tpypor){Cu2V2O2(O3PC6H5)(4)}].2H(2)O (1.2H(2)O) and [Ni(tpypor){V4O4(O3PC6H5)(4)}].2H(2)O (2.2H(2)O), which are constructed from {X2V2O2(O3PC6H5)(4)}(n) chains [X=Cu (1), VO (2)] linked through {M(tpypor)} subunits [M=Cu (1), Ni (2)]; the structures differ only in the replacement of the Cu(II) sites on the chain of 1 by {VO}(2+) units in the structure of 2, a manifestation of the retention of structural motifs derived from common secondary building units.
