A 2 MW industrial chiller using water as refrigerant. Principles and operational experiences

Water as refrigerant is used in a 2 MW industrial chiller which has been in operation for more than one year in Denmark. The paper describes in principles the process, the plant, the compressors, the control system, measurements on the plant and future perspectives.
