摘要：
The speciation of metal ions by capillary electrophoresis is an important area for environmental chemists. The speciation of metal ions by capillary electrophoresis in different matrices is reviewed. Various aspects of speciation such as sample pretreatment, metal ion complexation, detection, detection limit, choice of electrolytes, etc. have been described. Suggestions to improve the application of CE for the speciation of metal ions are given. The future scope of this technique has also been discussed.
