摘要：

The participation of the Kazakhs in the Soviet-Finnish war, the, fate of our compatriots who were in captivity in Finland and Norway, is a little-studied topic in Kazakhstan's historical science. The analysis of the identified documents from the archives of the Scandinavian countries allowed restoring the lists of Kazakhstanis who were in military captivity in Norway and Finland. These documents are especially valuable because the databases of the Ministries of Defense of Kazakhstan and Russia do not represent many of these names. By comparing and analyzing the data available in the archival documents of Norway, Finland, Russia, and Kazakhstan, we can recreate the general picture of the presence of Kazakhs in military captivity in two Scandinavian countries and the fate of individuals the direct participants of the events.
