摘要
Rapidly solidified Al-Y-Ni-Co-Pd alloys contain highly dispersed primary alpha-Al nanoparticles of about 5 urn in size homogeneously embedded in the glassy matrix with an extremely high density of precipitates of the order of 10(24) m(-3). These particles grow at the temperature below a glass-transition temperature. The first direct observation of micro-strain regions and dislocations quenched in nanoparticles with a size about 5 nm is provided. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
