摘要
This study aims to improve effectiveness and efficiency in obtaining real-time up-to-date doctor information by use of FOAF and vCard ontology to design information about doctor ontology and applying the Linked Open Data technique to link information about doctor from various healthcare websites. The system uses SPARQL to query information and send the results to RDF/JSON, which formats the data and then sends them to patients. The system involves two websites: one is a search engine that returns information about doctor from healthcare as results, and the other is a set of healthcare websites that provide doctor information. Therefore, Drupal is used to enable the RDF extension module and provide meaningful mapping. Experimental test bed configurations are set up to test the system features. Evaluation results show that consumers or patients retrieve up-to-date doctor information. Search features and technologies between our system and existing systems are also compared.
