摘要：
The paper is a literature review concerning the compounds able to two-photon absorption of radiation. The mechanism of two-photon processes is described as well as the conditions the effective initiators must fulfill. The examples of initiators from each group of compounds used in polymerizations initiated with two-photon absorption were presented. The applications and the advantages of two-photon initiators have been discussed.
