摘要
Conceptually different chiral catalysts ranging from polymetallic complexes to Lewis acids and organocatalysts have emerged for solving the long-standing problem of stereocontrol in the Henry reaction, a fundamental C-C bond-forming process (see scheme). New catalyst systems with improved selectivity have increased the synthetic value of this reaction considerably.
