摘要
Pasteurella multocida infection most commonly manifests as an acute skin, soft tissue, bone, or joint infection after a cat or dog bite or scratch. We report a rare case of septic shock associated with P multocida infection, extremity pain, and subsequent bullae formation. There was no evidence of a cat bite, but the patient had significant exposure to cats.
