摘要
The purpose of the research was to develop methodical assumptions for measuring goats' mammary gland cisterns using the USC technique, which would be helpful for revaluating milk yield. It was ascertained that the width and cross-section area of the teat cistern may be used to forecast milk performance in goats because of its relatively high correlation to milk yield. Due to the considerable size differentiation in mammary gland cisterns of udder halves, it is important to measure both cisterns. The results of the measurement and clarity of the USG images were influenced by the age of the goats and type of udder. The clearest outline of the mammary gland cistern, which was also free of any deformations, was produced by goats having oval udders.
