摘要
V2V communication, one of the core technologies in next-generation Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), is used in communication between vehicles. Existing V2V communications provide security for private information by using pseudonym certificates. However, V2V communications require a certificate authority (CA) that issues and manages pseudonym certificates and the C2C-CC scheme, which is a vehicle communication authentication technology primarily found in Europe. The C2C-CC scheme is vulnerable to vehicular information leakage if either the LTCA or PCA is hacked. This paper proposes an authentication method which utilizes hashed vehicle ID (HID) certificates to strengthen the security of private information.
