摘要：
Deinked pulp slurries were oxidized with TEMPO (4-acetamido-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine-1-oxyl radical), sodium bromide, and sodium hypochlorite tinder various conditions to improve both optical and strength properties. Oxidation treatments showed significant improvements for tensile and burst while tear was decreased. Pulp brightness was reduced due to pulp darkening from alkaline conditions used for oxidations. However, bleaching with hydrogen peroxide following the oxidation stage was found to recover the brightness loss.
