摘要
The microbial testing of fresh produce and sprouts that get contaminated due to microorganisms, thus causing human illness, is discussed. The microorganisms present on fruit and vegetables reflects the initial conditions at the time of harvest, and sanitary quality of the handling and processing steps. Various testing procedures are also presented.
