摘要：

This article aims at describing the basis of choosing Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to evaluate the harmonious degree on socio-economic development. Starting from the selection of decision-making unit and the design on index system etc, it systematically illustrates the thought of using DEA as a method on evaluating the harmonious degree on socio-economic development. Besides, the principle on designing the index system of harmonious degree is put forward. Finally, based on socio-economic statistical data, it empirically analyzes the harmonious degree of social and economic development of Sichuan Province and further advances suggestions for improvement.
