摘要
Titanium dioxide (TiO2) films on polyester fabrics were fabricated by magnetron sputtering. The surface morphologies and microstructure of thin films deposited on polyester fabrics were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and x-ray diffraction (XRD). The photocatalytic activities and anti-ultraviolet properties of polyester fabric coated with TiO2 films were investigated. The results indicated that TiO2 films deposited on polyester fabric substrates were relatively smooth, dense and uniform. XRD analysis revealed that the structure of TiO2 film was non-crystalline structure. Compared with the original fabric samples, the polyester fabrics coated with TiO2 films have better photocatalytic activities and anti-ultraviolet property.
