Solution of chromium carbides in the austenite of high-strength steel

摘要
A mathematical model is proposed for the solution of chromium carbides in austenite in various temperature-time and concentration conditions. Such modeling permits the prediction of these processes in new quenching technologies for high-strength steel based on heterogenization of the austenite prior to martensitic transformation, which significantly improves the mechanical properties of the steel.
