摘要
It is necessary to forecast the distributing condition of carst cavity and pipeline during tunnel construction because the carst is very complex and it is very difficult to make certain its site during ground surface survey. In this field horizontal drilling and geophysical survey are main methods. As a new geophysical method ground penetrating radar has obvious dominance in the course of middle and short distance exploration because its exploring course is continuous and orientational. The carst advance geological forecast method of compositive analyse about carst forming condition combined with horizontal drilling and ground penetrating radar is studied in this paper. At the same time the actual engineering application of this method is introduced.
