Urinary 8-hydroxy-2′-deoxyguanosine levels increase after reperfusion in acute myocardial infarction and may predict subsequent cardiac events

摘要
We assessed serial changes in oxidative stress in patients with. acute myocardial-infarction by,measuring urinary 8-hydroxy-2'-deaxyguanosine excretion. The urinary 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine creatinine levels, peaked at 4 hours after, reperfusion therapy and the levels were higher in the cardiac event group than in the noncardiac event group, before and after reperfusion.
