摘要：
A diastereoselective synthesis of the (1S, 2S, 3R)- and (1R, 2R, 3R)-5-thiazole analogues of (1R, 2S, 3R)-2-acetyl-4(5)-(1,2,3,4-tetrahydroxybutyl)imidazole has been developed starting with 2,3-O-isopropylidene-D-erythrono-1,4-lactone.
