The possibility of developing a new civil engineering curriculum based on a broader view of what the future may hold for new graduates is discussed. The proposed curriculum focused on building global leadership qualities on a framework of civil engineering. The proposed program is likely to attract students form many countries who will attend classes on two continents and perform fieldwork in both developed and developing countries. It is suggested that, training a selected group of students in a true global environment will produce individuals who can shape the future of the society.
