摘要:
Latin American studies on Social Sciences publications are not abundant; these disciplines deserve more at-tention in countries of the region by national scientific systems. This study analyzes the Peruvian and Colombian scientific production in Social Sciences published in Web of Science (2011-2020) with the objective of determining collaboration indicators and analyzing co-authorship networks between institutions and countries, in addition to identifying the intel-lectual structure through co-citation and bibliographic coupling of authors. A total of 2888 documents were analyzed from Peru and 12747 from Colombia, from which the pattern of collaborations in both countries was identified, with a tendency to constitute a greater number of international links than regional ones. Despite the wide difference in the number of doc-uments, the collaboration networks follow similar dynamics in both countries, and bibliographic coupling and co-citation focused on classic authors of these disciplines and institutional authors is also common.
