摘要：

The authors report high performance dense WDM multiplexers and demultiplexers with a 0.4nm channel spacing. Special apodised FBGs and low loss bandpass WDM filters are utilised. The demonstrated cost effective eight-channel dense WDM devices have a high channel isolation of > 25dB and an insertion loss of similar to 7.5dB. The WDM devices can be expanded to 32 or 64 channels in the same structures.
