摘要：

The growth of the Chinese economy was accompanied by investment to respond to energy demand. In Brazil, China has become an important investor in the oil sector. However, corruption schemes have plagued Chinese oil companies. The work intends to analyze if, during the investment process of Chinese oil companies in Brazil, the political risk assessment and if contested, continued due to the promising environment for guaranteeing Chinese energy security.
