摘要
A wire is buried in a lossy halfspace. The finite-difference time domain (FDTD) is used to calculate the radiation pattern of the wire. One of the key technologies is near- to far- zone transformation proposed by Kenneth Demarest, the other is contour integral model of a thin wire proposed by Alien Taflove. The PML absorption boundary condition is used for truncation of FDTD lattices.
