摘要
Economic development remains a priority of Chinese government. However it is, increasingly being measured by the effectiveness of the steps taken to protect the environment, including control of Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) emissions. Climate change adaptation and mitigation not an altruistic pursuit but pressing imperatives for a sustainable and strong national economy. As a responsible country, we are committed to leveraging our people, capital, and ideas to help find effective market-based solutions to address climate change, ecosystem degradation, and other critical environmental issues, and to seek new business opportunities that benefit the environment.
