摘要
The agriculture and food industry is very important for human society development and is constantly growing with the world's population. Agriculture is also among the activities that generate a lot of greenhouse gases, therefore there is a need to opt for the implementation of renewable energy resources for processing. Solar energy is a good solution because it is clean, natural and abundant as well as usually being available in the regions used for growing food. This paper presents some processes in the agriculture and food industries in which solar energy systems can be used. The state of the art and practical examples of the incorporation and adaptability of solar energy are also presented.
