摘要
The number of people with disabilities around the world who need to use a wheelchair to displace in their daily environment is growing rapidly. Therefore, many states are creating policies and laws that encourage the inclusion of these people in the workplace and social. Likewise, different companies have created models of electric wheelchairs, but their cost and limitations in the way of use generates that few people can access them. Therefore, this document presents the development of an electric wheelchair with the ability to travel through buildings in Peru and that can be controlled through the movement of the body (without the need for upper limbs) using inertial sensors. Likewise, a user interface was detected so that the chair control commands are adapted to the patient or operator.
