The Trajectory and Types of Modem Public Theology

After proving the feasibility of religious discourse in public matters, the more essential disagreements will catch our attention, which could be attacked by a model of two-type politics. The two types are: politics of the strong and politics of the weak. Christianity is usually deemed to have a dramatic change of focus from the strong to the weak. The public theologians along this line make more presence in modem Europe. They even believe that God suffers with the weak. By contrast, English speaking theologians focus more on the positive working of Spirit in various social powers.
