摘要：

Reaction of substituted pyrazole-l-acetyl chloride (3) with acetophenone derivative (4) in presence of sodium methoxide in dry toluene led to the synthesis of substituted beta-diketones containing pyrazole moiety (5a-l). All the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis and IR, H-1, C-13 NMR and mass spectral studies. The compounds (5a-l) were evaluated for their antibacterial and antifungal activities.
