摘要
This project aims to construct an employability skills profile for the UAE which anticipates the most required skills for the UAE market in the coming 5 years. It will work as a national reference for academic institutions to develop the business, engineering, and computer science curriculums and setting their strategic plans to provide the country with skillful and knowledgeable workforce according to the expected needs based on the result of the study. Additionally, the national organizations that concern is Emaretization can get a significant benefit in developing their future plans by utilizing the results of the project. The profile will be updated every 5 years according to the changes in the labor market needs. The future destination of the project is to create such studies in the GCC. The study aims to produce a framework within which a broad range of generic employability skills can be considered. This review has focused on the views of employers concerning the skills required of both new entrants to the workforce and established employees.
