摘要：

The paper introduces long-term survey results from the field of information relating to the process of applying for the university, collecting information about study programmes, being informed about the results of the process, about ICT in education and others. Data were collected by the questionnaire method, compared and analyzed. The sample research consisted of approximately 5,000 respondents. The results clearly show the development of the role of modern technologies and their impact on the process of search for information in the phase of pre-university study.
