摘要
The present paper discusses the possibility of using a coherent beat-modulated source in a frequency domain approach to probe the characteristics of a highly scattering medium with low absorption. The theoretical approach is based on the diffusion approximation of the Boltzmann transport equation. Experimental results show that this approach is valid for sufficiently large source-detector distances.
