摘要：
The reaction of the tetraindium(I) cluster compound In-4[C(SiMe3)(3)](4) (1) with silver tetrafluoridoborate afforded the unique organometallic indium(II) subfluoride [(Me3Si)(3)C(F)In-In(F)C(SiMe3)(3)](2) 2 via selective oxidation of the indium atoms by Ag+. Compound 2 features an In4F4 cage at its molecular core in which two In-In single bonds that are perpendicular to each other are bridged by four fluorine atoms.
