摘要
With Programmable Phase Grating (PPG) based on Micro-opto-electro-mechanical Systems (MOEMS), the phases of light-wave can be controlled by programming so that the light-wave spatial phases of certain wavelength will be redistributed according to some rules, and the expected distribution of diffractive and interferential optical energy will be produced. The theoretical model of optical characteristics is discussed in detail with some simulation results presented to indicate that the characteristics of PPG for programming control are related to the wavelength of incident light, and part of the diffractive energy can be transferred from a certain angle to another expected angle when PPG parameters are changed properly. The results of analysis also indicate that the contrast of diffraction spectrum can be improved with appropriate control applied on PPG, and homochromous light can be modulated of a certain angle to an expectant performance by adjusting the PPG parameters.
