摘要
Antennas capable of sending and receiving ultra-wideband pulses are required for radar-based microwave breast imaging. This article describes a TEM horn antenna designed to operate over a 2-12 GHz band with specific radiated near-field characteristics. Simulations and experimental measurements are presented, including detection of objects representing tumors. (C) 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
