High-intensity femtosecond laser interactions with vibrationally excited CO2

摘要
In this work we report the first measurements of the interaction of 60 fs laser purses at 750 nm with vibrationally excited CO2. Comparison with ground state CO2 is made and enhanced kinetic energies for C+ and C2+ observed. These observations are consistent with unusually large bends in the molecule, induced by the laser field.
