摘要
The already known di-n-butyltin(IV) complex of the chiral anti-inflammatory drug naproxen (Hnapr) of formula [(n-Bu-)(2)Sn(nap)(2)] (1), was re-synthesized here with an alternative method and it was used for the assessment of organotins towards the linoleic acid which is located in the cell membrane, the intracellular glutathione and the nuclear CT-DNA. The compound was characterized by melting point (m.p.) Sn-119 Mossbauer while its structure was confirmed by X-ray crystallography. The influence of 1, upon the peroxidation of linoleic acid to hydroperoxylinoleic was kinetically studied. The binding affinity of 1 towards the intracellular molecular components CT-DNA and glutathione (GSH) was studied by UV-Vis spectroscopy. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
