摘要
Sandro Cohen's novel Lejos del Paraiso (1997) is a science-fiction novel that portrays a future society in which corporations dominate and market logic shapes all aspects of social life. The novel employs narrative strategies that immerse readers in an experience that will allow them to understand the ideological struggles between book culture and market pressures in late-twentieth-century Mexico.
